As a part of my senior design project, I did a majority of the 3D modeling and assembly of components. For this project, we used PTC Onshape.
Onshape is made by PTC, which also developed CREO. The main driver behind this choice was the ease of editing on the cloud as a team. Some components such as the combustion chamber and loader
were entirely designed by the leads of their respective subsystems, so I was in charge of the assembly and modeling of additional components the team forgot such as baseplates and electronics.

Cat Feeder Project - 2024
I bought some gravity water dispensers for really cheap, and I wanted to convert one of them to be a food dispenser.
However, it had very little clearance for food to flow through from. To fix this, I pulled up Fusion 360 and, after some
iterations, I decided on a design that would take minimal filament to 3d print, and also handle the weight of a full cat food container.
I used Fusion 360's Simulation mode to apply pressures and constraints to see if the print would structurally hold up, printed it, and installed it.
Now Gilly can enjoy his food at his leisure, and automates one extra thing.

Projector Mount - 2023
As I moved into my new apartment, I bought a relatively cheap projector. My ceiling has an angle to it, and wanted to point the projector on my ceiling.
However, propping it up on some books proved difficult, and wanted to design a stand to hold it at a 45 degree angle.

Rocketry Club - 2023
I am also a member of the Florida Tech Rocketry Club. I have been working on a few of the parts for our rocket,
mainly prototyping and 3D printing.
I was initially using NX and blender to model the parts. Later on, I experimented using other 3D modeling software
such as Inventor and settled on Fusion 360.
We found that this software was more user-friendly and had a much easier workflow when it comes to version control.
The bulk of this rocket was 3D printed out of PLA, but the body tube was made out of cardboard and the fins were laser-cut out of birch wood.

Siemens NX Modeling - 2022
Video-guided practice
One of the classes I took at Florida Tech was called Aerospace Practicum.
This class contained some lessons in modelling parts such as brackets and washers using the Siemens NX software.
In my free time, however, I wanted to practice more than I was able to with the class.
Because of this, I took some time and tried to model the first 17 parts from the below youtube video providing
examples of practice
parts.
Arduino Uno Case - 2022
Also as a part of Aerospace Practicum, we had some projects using the Arduino Uno. As an additional project, I
purchased a small LCD screen to affix on top.
On top of this, I wanted to create a case for it so I could display it like an alarm clock.
I inevitably had issues with getting it printed through my local library, but I still created the models below in
NX.
